Teaching the World to Play!
Pat Boozer received a Bachelor's degree in piano from Samford University in Alabama, a Master's degree in piano and composition from Southern Seminary in Kentucky, and has master's level Orff certification from the American Orff-Schulwerk Association. She composes both piano and choral works and is published by a number of publishing companies.
Her experiences include commissioned composer, workshop clinician, adjudicator, accompanist, and teacher. Her teaching experience includes private piano, public school music, and collegiate teaching.
Boozer is also the creative designer of Staff Writer, a unique font designed for educators so that they can create music tests and worksheets in a word-processing environment.
She and her husband, Dr. John Boozer, currently live in North Carolina. They have two grown children, John Britt and JoBeth.
