Bryan Kidd is the retired chief composer and arranger for the U.S. Navy Band in Washington, D.C. He began his music career as a band director in Fairfax County, Virginia, after graduating from Shenandoah University. A composer and arranger of numerous published works, Mr. Kidd has been an annual recipient of ASCAP's Standard Award for his compositions in the educational field since 1996. Currently, he is the director of several middle school and high school jazz ensembles and combos in Prince William County, Virginia.
