For close to two
decades, Mary Sallee has made her mark in Norman, Oklahoma, and
throughout the world as a teacher, composer, and performer. Most
recently, she served as an adjunct piano faculty member at Oklahoma
Baptist University and currently specializes in teaching piano and
voice to adult students.
A nationally
certified teacher of music (NCTM) of Music Teachers National
Association (MTNA), Mary holds a double bachelors degree in
piano performance and pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma. She
also studied at the Hochschule fur Musik in Vienna, Austria.
Professionally,
Mary currently serves as state president for the Oklahoma Music
Teachers Association (OMTA). Her work has been commissioned by dozens
of reputable organizations, and she plays a key role in community
events by freelancing as a dinner/jazz pianist, and accompanying for
various choral, vocal, instrumental, theater, and modern dance groups.
