Frank Milholland
received a Bachelor of Music Education degree and a Master of Music
Theory and Composition degree, both from Miami University, Oxford,
Ohio. In 1969, he entered the Air Force band program where he played
flute and piano and was an arranger for the band. Later he was
assigned as a composer and arranger to the Air Force Academy Band in
Colorado Springs. He retired from the Air Force in 1993, after 24
years of service.
Mr. Milholland has
written and arranged music for band, orchestra, solo flute, and solo
piano, and has placed several keyboard and instrumental arrangements
in the catalogs of major sacred music publishers. He has also written
vocal solos, hymns, and choral compositions, and has produced a CD of
original sacred songs.
Mr. Milholland
currently resides with his wife, Jean, in Colorado Springs, where he
serves as Minister of Music at Central Church of the Nazarene. He
continues to write and perform on a weekly basis.
