An excellent new
festival work from Elliot Del Borgo! Based on three songs inspired by
the sea, it opens with exciting woodwind flourishes and an excellent
use of percussion. The middle section is a beautiful setting of Eternal
Father, Strong to Save that captures the essence of the piece
while providing some interesting new harmonies. The last section is a
fantasy on The Drunken Sailor that is quite effective and
worthy of your utmost consideration.
